Dr. Sharon Norcott received her BS in Rehabilitation Services from Springfield College in 1999 and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from UMASS Lowell in 2004.
She has over 17 years of outpatient manual orthopedic experience working with a wide population. Her graduate work includes clinical rotations at several Boston and NY area hospitals. Sharon received her Master Dry Needling Certification in 2019. She holds a Pilates Mat Certification through the Physical Mind Institute. Sharon has an extensive background working and managing aquatic therapy programs for patients of all levels.
She has advanced her skills over the years completing courses in a wide variety of topics including: Strain/Counterstrain, Instrument Assisted Manual Therapy, Cupping, Maitland concepts, TMJ, Total Joint Replacement, Aquatic and Sports Rehabilitation. She has had the opportunity to attend teachings with Brian Mulligan, founder of New Zealand School of Physiotherapy.
During college, Sharon competed at the NCAA Division III level playing Field Hockey. During the off seasons, she and her teammates had the opportunity to travel to Australia, Holland and France to train and compete against high level club teams. After college, one of her biggest accomplishments was completing the Boston Marathon.
Sharon lives with her husband and their three children in Southern NH. They keep active with youth sports and enjoy skiing in the White Mountains. Sharon has volunteered as a Youth Soccer Coach and has worked as a YMCA Running Coach.
